This residential site has a long entrance and is surrounded by other landed residential on all sides, putting privacy an issue from the start. Working closely with owners who are nature lover themselves, we are tasked to transform a no privacy open site into a secluded oasis home.
The approach is to have a nature setting where lush greenery provide effective privacy screening around and a careful separation of public and private space.
Entrance is carefully blocked with trees canopy and green fence to create the first tier of privacy. Upon entering the gate, one will be greeted by a meandering driveway with tall trees and land contour providing a difference experience entry. Second level Hanging garden adds another interesting green privacy curtain at the main entrance.
A secluded oasis with private resort like pool is tucked away at the side of the house and a ‘transition space’ with trellis and seating deck is introduced to separate public space and private Jacuzzi & pool.
Water body is brought into the living with water curtain backdrop at the junction and tall trees are positioned at the side to give an interesting canopies view, creating illusion of swimming through a forest.
